First of all we have a massive personal announcement that many of you already know but we wanted to share it here also. Jade Vanity (Mishel) and Subspace Freakquency (Roger) are getting married!!!
Crazy how life found a way to bring us together! We can’t wait to start our new life heart to heart into the future! We hope everyone who is looking, finds someone special and has the same type of energy happen in their lives!

Now for the stuff on New Neon…
New Neon is a fun-loving art experiment created by Jade Vanity and Subspace Freakquency almost 1 yr. ago.
There really has never been much of a plan, just create a fun art project that captures and presents all of the freakqish artistic energy that we both have inside and feel with each other. It is truly is an expression of love and good times.
It does; however, take time, effort and money to do all of the creative and production work to make this happen.
It is important to us that our friends and fans (who we loving call ‘Spider babies’!!) know the we never set out for New Neon to be a ‘commercial’ type of project and still don’t.
That’s why we want to continue giving all of our music away. When you hear or see New Neon, it is us being real and just exploring and sharing our new project with whoever is interested.
We aren’t trying to get a record deal (does that even happen anymore?) or build a live performance show so we can tour the world. Or anything else that would harm the artistic flow or more importantly suck all the fun out the whole thing.
This last year has been very special and we feel the music and video art generated from New Neon is fun stuff….and yes, strange, weird and definitely bizzarro!
This is a new universe and art is being created by millions of people who would normally not have access to do so. Obviously not everything we post on Facebook or Myspace rises to the level of true Art, but the artistic energy is alive in everything we do.
We are not funded by a record company and therefore do not see ourselves like any big label band that may be out there like that. We are true. Doing everything ourselves and giving it away. Pure expression.
We look forward to another year of mad fun and creating freakqy musik for everyone on the planet to bob up and down to and maybe catch the feeling transmitted through the words and electro sounds.
There has been a few musik deals and there is 'commercial' interest out there for our project. You may see some tracks on a cd or something (not sure yet)…but it will not change our plan to create free musik for anyone who wants it!
We would rather just hear from someone who has had a good experience with our musik or who has opened up their love of musik to other artists because of New Neon, instead of trying to get you to buy a cd or mp3.
To all our personal friends out there we hope this blog helps explain things better. We really haven’t had much time to do that.
One thing is for sure, we put love, laughter and soul in everything we do. We hope you guys respect the effort and appreciate the artistic expression. We would love to hear from you!
To our entire nest of spider baby fans out there: Thank You Massive for all of the LOVE!
We hope to have some ‘special’ mixes of selected tracks we put out this last year that will be available to fans only as our way to blow everyone a special electronic spider kiss!
By the way…if you know another artist out there who you like and they are selling a product…we do recommend that you support them!!!
It is hard work to write, record, produce and promote while probably at the same time holding down a full time job!
No one is making any real money doing it...so any little bit will help.
