New Neon is Glowing

Ok kids, here is the latest..

New Neon (Subspace Freakquency and Jadevanity) -Roger and Michele are now officially married and living happily in the collage castle known as 'The Freak Factory' ! Our first album project called 'Electro Carnival' was finished a month or so ago and featured a ton of original New Neon Electro -Trash Tracks and some really cool collabs. We are very happy with it and hope that you BOUNCE and SHOUT to it.

We offered every single track as a free download to anyone who wanted it. No e-mail requirement, no strings attached, just one click and it was yours! The response was ok, but not what we we hoped for.

We know that there has been REAL EXCITEMENT over our sound, especially in Canada, parts of Europe, and South America.

Thank you to our fans and friends that support and play us! We LOVE being a part of your GOOD TIMES!

We have been approached by a couple of record companies who have great interest in our tracks, style, and sound.

We have commited to Some Bizzare Records (UK) for our track 'Bamboo Wow Wow' This track is in for a professional touch-up and then onto MASS MEDIA EXPLOSION! Details will follow once we have them..hopefully you will be inspired to purchase the newly enhanced version when it becomes available!

We are in the process of building our next album project....'Flick the Switch!' We are starting by creating special versions of 5 popular previous tracks...starting with 'Dirty Pink' yea! :)
Then a massive new set of dirty electro-freakq biscuits for all you Spider-babies out there! ;)

Since our last album, our next one will be commercially available (iTunes , etc.) we are going to have to cease free downloads.

New Neon LOVES New York!

NYC was a BLAST!

What a trip! Unbelievable honeymoon! If you have never been to New York..it's time for you to go! Explore and have fun!! It's truly worth it! And it was my third time! Roger's second...we definitely will return again in the future.

Back home in ATX.

Now there's alot to do and get organised here at home. We both took alot of photos and film! So excited to get all of that stuff together to show off here. Lots of colourful and fun stuff!

We took in ALOT of NYC..we explored many different places all over..so much to do with so little time in only a weeks time..yet we some how managed to get alot in for our short trip..it's AMAZING how much you can do and see..especially when you walk you will definitely see alot more! From Museums to Fashion to Subways to Soho to East Village to the Empire..etc. We loved every minute of it! I believe we took a slice of NY back home with us..it's deeply embedded in us now. We love NY!

We (New Neon) do adapt to changes..if there is an opportunity that arises we will jump on it. We will always create in our own way no matter what and we will still keep it freakqy fresh and real! We are one of a kind, we do not sound like any other musical artists or bands out there nor try to. We have fun doing what we love!

Sending MASSIVE LOVE to all Spider Babies!

New Neon is nearing completion of our final track for the 'Electro Carnival' project! The track is titled 'New Neon' and it is a celebration of a crazy 1st year! After we post it up everywhere, we are going to take a break from music production and spend some time GETTING MARRIED! Once we get back from our honeymoon in New York City, we are planning to start a new project called 'Flick the Switch' in September! The Planet of Neon

First of all we have a massive personal announcement that many of you already know but we wanted to share it here also. Jade Vanity (Mishel) and Subspace Freakquency (Roger) are getting married!!!

Crazy how life found a way to bring us together! We can’t wait to start our new life heart to heart into the future! We hope everyone who is looking, finds someone special and has the same type of energy happen in their lives!

If you are in Austin, Friday April 23^rd Join us at Elysium Nightclub for a massive 80’s New Wave / Darkwave party that is also Jade Vanity’s

birthday and our engagement party!

Now for the stuff on New Neon…

New Neon is a fun-loving art experiment created by Jade Vanity and Subspace Freakquency almost 1 yr. ago.

There really has never been much of a plan, just create a fun art project that captures and presents all of the freakqish artistic energy that we both have inside and feel with each other. It is truly is an expression of love and good times.

It does; however, take time, effort and money to do all of the creative and production work to make this happen.

It is important to us that our friends and fans (who we loving call ‘Spider babies’!!) know the we never set out for New Neon to be a ‘commercial’ type of project and still don’t.

That’s why we want to continue giving all of our music away. When you hear or see New Neon, it is us being real and just exploring and sharing our new project with whoever is interested.

We aren’t trying to get a record deal (does that even happen anymore?) or build a live performance show so we can tour the world. Or anything else that would harm the artistic flow or more importantly suck all the fun out the whole thing.

This last year has been very special and we feel the music and video art generated from New Neon is fun stuff….and yes, strange, weird and definitely bizzarro!

This is a new universe and art is being created by millions of people who would normally not have access to do so. Obviously not everything we post on Facebook or Myspace rises to the level of true Art, but the artistic energy is alive in everything we do.

We are not funded by a record company and therefore do not see ourselves like any big label band that may be out there like that. We are true. Doing everything ourselves and giving it away. Pure expression.

We look forward to another year of mad fun and creating freakqy musik for everyone on the planet to bob up and down to and maybe catch the feeling transmitted through the words and electro sounds.

There has been a few musik deals and there is 'commercial' interest out there for our project. You may see some tracks on a cd or something (not sure yet)…but it will not change our plan to create free musik for anyone who wants it!

We would rather just hear from someone who has had a good experience with our musik or who has opened up their love of musik to other artists because of New Neon, instead of trying to get you to buy a cd or mp3.

To all our personal friends out there we hope this blog helps explain things better. We really haven’t had much time to do that.

One thing is for sure, we put love, laughter and soul in everything we do. We hope you guys respect the effort and appreciate the artistic expression. We would love to hear from you!

To our entire nest of spider baby fans out there: Thank You Massive for all of the LOVE!

We hope to have some ‘special’ mixes of selected tracks we put out this last year that will be available to fans only as our way to blow everyone a special electronic spider kiss!

By the way…if you know another artist out there who you like and they are selling a product…we do recommend that you support them!!!

It is hard work to write, record, produce and promote while probably at the same time holding down a full time job!

No one is making any real money doing it...so any little bit will help.

Last Thursday of February

So today I went out on a mission..to find a JOB!! It was a weird day for that too, most of the time I was driving around looking for some hotels that I wrote down on my list and one was no longer a hotel, a couple of others were hard to get into, as far as parking..you got to either pay or someone is blocking the damn parking garage! WTF?!

Aside from looking, the air was breezy and the sun was bright! Such a perfect day for venturing out. I loved that part of it!! And I did put out a few flyers for Return to Planet 9, so that was cool! Drank a ton of coffee today..AND rocked out to 80's rock AND electro disco!! Definitely GOOD TIMES!!

Today was a great day!

Looking forward to tomorrow since after all it is Friday and the start of a GREAT weekend for Subspace Freakquency and I. Monday marks our 1 year Anniversary!


Many great times ahead for us in the year 2010!!! MANY!! WATCH OUT!!

NEW NEON is GONNA BLAST OFF TOO!! So ready for everything to happen!
