Love this! I wanted to be a pirate many years ago for Halloween when I was a stripper at Expose. I looked at a couple of outfits as a pirate at a fancy store in Austin, called Le Rouge..and parts of the costume was similar to what Vanity wore in her video..but I didn't have the money at the time..so I went with the other one! So strange! 

Anyway, I have always had a deep connection to her for many years..my name, 'Jade Vanity' came from Vanity 6..well, the last name..first name, I like the gem stone,  'jade' and 'Vanity' it just fit well with that..this was 1992.
