Today is
Farrah Fawcett's birthday. She would have been 64. Roger and I are thinking of her on her special day and we (
New Neon) have written a song especially for Farrah...since after all, Farrah was an
extraordinary human-being in her life and her career...to us, she holds a very special place in our hearts.
In 2009 after her death, Farrah was not honored for the 'In Memoriam' at the Oscars in Hollywood..we were shocked and very disappointed, as I'm sure many of her fans, family and friends were as well. So in this year 2011, New Neon will honor Farrah with a song, simply titled "Farrah" a tribute to her in our own way..as of right now, we are working on it..we hope to finish it soon, as this song will be included on our album titled 'Flick the Switch'. Our new album is currently being worked on and "hopefully" due for a release on Some Bizzare Records, in the Summer, as it is originally planned. More details to come.
