ARI UP

I just read that ARI UP has passed away! At the age of 48, how sad! For those who may not know, she was in a punk band called The Slits.

I actually never heard of them way back when they were in their prime of their musical journey. Many years later, a friend gave me The Slits CD in 2001 for my birthday and I was instantly hooked! Why hadn't I known about them during my teenage years! Especially when I was SO into PunK! Today, I still have the CD and I do listen to it often. It is classic!






Ari Up you will be missed greatly! R.I.P.
